STONE SCULPTURE IN THE LANDSCAPE
An Open House Exhibit of Stone Sculptures
October 12-20, 2024

Once a year, for nine years, TJ Mabrey has opened the doors of her marble carving studio and gallery to the public. 2024 marks the 2nd year she has invited other stone sculptors to join her in exhibiting their artwork.

Located at 232 Camino de Santiago, Taos, New Mexico, the studio and gallery will provide an opportunity for visitors to see new sculptures by these 14 well established NM stone sculptors:

These sculptors have come to their practice in differing ways – through art schools, private lessons, and workshops in known stone carving capitols like Italy, Greece, and Marble, Colorado. They all have different reasons for working in stone as a preferred medium, but the common thread is their love of carving stone.
